In this class, you’ll be introduced to Functional Patterns, the innovative approach we use at Primastrong that makes pain-free movement possible by building strength from within.

Heal Pain at the Source: The Foundations of Pain-free Movement

This 75-minute class will cover myofascial release techniques, standing posture, proper core engagement, and breathing techniques. We have designed this class to cover the fundamentals in a way that is easy to understand and can be applied in daily life.

All levels are welcome. Space is limited to 8 participants per class.  

FASCIAL RELEASE

Hydrating and relaxing the soft tissue of the body is fundamental to pain relief.

POSTURE

Learning proper joint stacking and muscle engagement will provide an understanding of which body positions are detrimental and which ones are healthy.

BREATHING

Understanding how to create pressure helps alleviate many pain issues. 

CORE TRAINING

Along with building pressure, having good core function is essential to living a pain-free life.

The method we employ (Functional Patterns) is an integrated approach that always considers the body as a system. As a result of this integrated approach, the structural changes we make on the body tend to last.

Balanced standing posture is the foundation of good health. Achieving symmetry in your posture (and movement) will prevent pain, increase movement efficiency, and prepare your body to lift objects or safely take on the impacts of life.

MFR should be very strategic in instances of extreme hypermobility or Ehlers-danlos syndrome, but we take that into consideration when designing this class.
